Handmade leather shoes Péire Brógaí leathair

Leather shoes made by the cobbler/gréasaí like clogs. Brown in colour, hard leather, soles secured to uppers by studs. Sole has metal strips held in place by six screws. Heel also has metal strips held in place by four screws.

Handmade shoes worn on feet for walking.

Made by local cobbler Jamsey McAndrew, Belmullet (Jamsie na mBróg) 1900's. Donated by McAndrew family.
