Gold quatrefoil medal with fine filigree work, 11/2" in diameter, with two loops at top, and inscription on front, 'St. Lucy's, 1908,' and on back, 'Won by J Kelly of NJ HBC'

Medal awarded on Jame Kelly's defeating John Bowles of Limerick in World Handball Championship at Brooklyn Handball Club, 1908

Medal awarded to James 'Champ' Kelly of Main St., Kiltimagh, who was then serving in the New York Police. Medal donated by 'Champ' Kelly's nephew, Sonny Conlon, of Gurteen, Co. Sligo
