The museum includes a wide variety of everyday household items with some more unusual items such as the 'War Horse Shoe' and in the agricultural section the 'gowl gob' a spade unique to North Mayo.
The newly open shop offers a wide choice of antique and new collectables including
- Jewellery
- Dolls
- Silk scarves
- Unique hat boxes
- Table mats and Cards by Irish artists from the National Gallery
The newly refurbished forge, under the guidance of Colin Highfield, offers traditional blacksmithing courses as stated in the book by the Craft Council of Ireland.
Private Commissions are also undertaken by Colin.
